For months now we have planned, changed plans, and planned again in preparation for the trip.  The logistics for prepping such an adventure are more than we could have imagined.  The first significant milestone that we have waited for will soon be here; that is the shipping of the bikes (More on shipping in a future blog, thanks to our friends at Crane Worldwide).  The bikes will be packed and crated by our local Harley Davidson dealers and then shipped to the Harley-Davidson plant in Kansas City where they will be placed in a container and shipped to Miami.  There, they will clear customs and board a ship bound for Buenas Aires, Argentina.  From there they will be loaded onto a semi truck and hauled overland to Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world.
