Today we crossed the 4,000 mile mark!  You could hear a few shouts over the radios as we celebrated this accomplishment.  That’s 40% of the journey now behind us!

Today was MORE DESERT.  We are ready to be done with Desert riding.  Hours and hours of nothing but wind. The temperature hovered around 98 degrees all afternoon.  We went through several sand storms as well.

The last two hours were simple beautiful riding along the Pacific coast and watching the sunset.  We arrived in Atico, Peru 30 minutes after dark.
