As the old saying goes, “there is no time like the present”.  And when you are delayed in Ushuaia, why not complete some dental work?  I thought now might be a good time to have two root canals completed.

Earlier in the week, while in Campinas Brazil, I had experienced some discomfort and ended up needing dental work.

A special thank you to Dr. Michelle and Dr. Adriana for coming into the office after hours to perform the surgery.  Everything went smoothly and we are grateful for the kindness we were shown.

Knowing additional follow-up work would be needed at some point on the trip, I decided to go ahead and seek out a local dentist here in Ushuaia.

Dr. Maria Garcia Reyna and her staff took great care of me and completed the work I needed.

I even received a certificate for being a good patient and behaving very well during the procedure.

 

 

The same couldn’t be said of Gary, who decided to double check the work, examine the x-rays, and create all around havoc.

Of course, it was all in good fun and the office staff were well entertained by the antics.  As Gary says, “a great time was had by all”.
